    Hi John ,
Thanks so much for giving me the info on my break in . I have also heard that you are supposed to leave the trim in the down position for the first 2 to 3 hours at 3500 to 4500 RPM . Varying it as you go . Does this sound right ?

Yes. Well actually I will trim one all the way down to come out of the hole and then once up trim to the level position. You want to put a load on the engine. I don't leave it all the way down for three hours. At the level or neutral postion you are basically putting pressure or a load on different cylinders at different RPM's to help seat the rings. This is why you have to keep varying the RPM's under a little bit of a load.
